How to obtain salvation, to be free and feel peace in life?

How to obtain salvation, to be free and feel peace in life?
How to obtain the forgiveness of sins? What must I do to obtain God´s love of God
blessings?
This question has been made by some of the Bible characters; let's see their inquiries in the
following verses:
“With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I
come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the LORD be pleased
with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for
my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?” (Micah 6: 6-7).
To answer these questions, you must understand what the Word of God says about
Salvation:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in
him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3: 16).
You get to be redeemed by the grace of God, as the following verses say:
102
“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of
righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing
of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3: 4-5)
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is
the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2: 8-9)
“Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law
was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” (John 1: 16-17)
“The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that
are in Christ Jesus.” (I Timothy 1: 14)
Grace is the love of the Heavenly Father that established salvation plan for your life
because you are a sinner and sin separates you from Him as it is written in the Bible:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3: 23)
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross, was to pay for your sins, to give
redemption, make you free from sin because there was nothing you could do to deserve
being adopted as son of God.
103
The Bible says:
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for
righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (I Peter 2: 24)
For your eternal salvation is necessary your personal decision, recognize that you are a
sinner, repent of your sins, admit that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross to pay the price
for your sins and rose from the dead and is alive today. You must open the door of your
heart, receive Him by conviction, be willing to change and accept that He is the Lord of
your life. In this way you will be God's son, and the Holy Spirit will come to dwell within
your heart.
The word of God says:
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to
become children of God—” (John 1: 12)
This is the plan of salvation to your life and it is by the grace of God, an undeserved gift
that God gives you because He loved you forever, because there is nothing you can do to
earn salvation of your soul. Salvation is not reachable for more good works that try to do.
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing
may come from the Lord” (Acts 3: 19).
In your experience with God, He will be calling you so that you obey His Word.
He will speak to your life, these are His words:
104
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”
(Isaiah 1: 18)
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I
will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” (Revelation 3: 20)
To receive Jesus in your heart you prayer for because the Word of God says:
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are
justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:
9-10)
Listen to what the Lord in the Book of Proverbs tells you:
"My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways” (Proverbs 23: 26)
105
(Prayer of confession of sin, repentance and acceptance of Christ):
DEAR LORD JESUS:
I acknowledge that I am a sinner and believe that you died for my sins on the cross and that
you rose and are alive today. I repent of my sins and I open the doors of my heart and my
life. I accept you as my Lord and personal Savior. Thank you for giving me eternal
salvation and because I lead your way to be free and restored.
v MEDITATION:
“Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.
For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.
Surely I was sinful at birth,

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS:

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS:
• The Spirit searches all things (1 Corinthians 2: 10)
• Comforter (John 14: 16, 17)
• Who convinces of sin, justice and judgment (John 16: 8)
• Who regenerates (Titus 3: 5)
• Free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8: 2)
• Who guides (Romans 8: 14)
• Who gives strength (Ephesians 3: 16)
• Who gives the fruit (Galatians 5: 22, 23)
98
• Who bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. (Romans 8: 16).
• Who reminds us of the things of God (John 14: 26)
THE NATURE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
He is one of the three persons of the Trinity.
He shares all the attributes of God.
• He is everlasting (Hebrews 9: 14)
• Omnipotent power (Luke 1: 35)
• Omnipresent (Psalms 139: 7, 8)
• Omniscient (all-knowing) (1 Corinthians 2: 10, 11)
In the process of healing of the wounds of the soul, the Holy Spirit is the comforter.
In the process of liberation of destructive thoughts and lies, is who reveals the unseen and
guide into all truth, as the Bible says:
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not
speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to
come.” (John 16: 13)
“The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.” (1 Corinthians 2: 10b)
The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God, the prayer of intercession and the personal prayer as
well as prayer inspired by Him through time. He confronts all lie and break defense
mechanisms so that the person faces up the reality of sin that enslaves him.
99
v TO REMEMBER:
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See,
darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon
you and his glory appears over you.” (Isaiah 60: 1, 2)
“But I have been the LORD your God ever since you came out of Egypt. You shall
acknowledge no God but me, no Savior except me.” (Hosea 13: 4)
“This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD
your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should
go.” (Isaiah 48: 17)
“The LORD hears the needy and does not despise his captive people.” (Psalms 69: 33)
v FOR YOUR LIFE:
In God I will restore my life; I can reach salvation and inner peace!
In God I will restore my life; I can reach salvation and inner peace!
In God I will restore my life; I can reach salvation and inner peace!

v WRITE OF THIS TEACHING AN APPLICATION IN YOUR LIFE:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Who runs the restoration within the inner world?
The Holy Spirit acting in the mind and heart of the person, when you have received Jesus
Christ into your heart according to what the Bible says:
97
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your
midst?” (1 Corinthians 3: 16).
“You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed
the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not
belong to Christ.” (Romans 8: 9)
The Holy Spirit operates in the inner world of the person renewing it gradually through the
revelation of the biblical truths that confront the lies built in the past and that enslave your
life.
The truth that reveals the Holy Spirit is what frees the man:
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8: 32).
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2
Corinthians 3:17).

THE MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST:

He is the truth that addresses and overcomes your lies built in your past; He is the abundant
life who offers to you Himself as the spiritual food and perfect peace.
A prophecy in relation to the attributes of the Lord Jesus is found in the book of Isaiah:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of
Peace.” (Isaiah 9: 6).
He is the beginning and the end; He is in your past, in your today, on your present. He is in
your inner world because He is omnipresent.
He is the good shepherd who takes care of his sheep and heals his wounds: is your Savior,
your deliverer, your emotional healer, who can restore your life fragmented by the pain of
your past because of sin in your life. He is the only light that you can set you free from the
prison of your darkness and which prevents you to feel inner peace. Jesus describes
Himself in the following verse:
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever
follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8: 12).
The Ministry of liberation and inner healing of the Lord for your life is found in the
following passage and Bible verses:
95
“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to
proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim
freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of
the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and
provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of
ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of
despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display
of his splendor.” (Isaiah 61: 1-3).
“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide
them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth.
These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.” (Isaiah 42: 16).
“They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside
streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel’s father,
and Ephraim is my firstborn son.” (Jeremiah. 31: 9).
“I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” (Jeremiah 31: 25).
“‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them
enjoy abundant peace and security. I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and
will rebuild them as they were before. I will cleanse them from all the sin they have
committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me.” (Jeremiah 33:
6-8).
96
In the restoration process Jesus Christ makes flow God's essential love to face the pain and
to be able to forgive as He has forgiven us. He is our faithful fellow when we are in crises,
the Lord who supports and understands us, who forgives us; He is our psychologist. He is
the permanent support to release all the feelings and repressed emotions.
JESUS IS:
• The son of God, the Savior (John 3: 16)
• The way, the truth and the life (John 14: 6)
• In the light of the world (John 8: 12)
• The Liberator (John 8: 36)
• The healing for damaged emotions (Isaiah 61: 1-3)
• Guide (Psalms 32: 8)
• Who listens and responds (Jeremiah 33: 3)
• The shepherd who cares for the sheep (John 10: 27-29)
• Light for revelation to the gentiles (Luke 2: 32)

MEETING: LEARNING ABOUT GOD´S NATURE

MEETING: LEARNING ABOUT GOD´S NATURE
The Bible says:
“This is what the LORD says: “‘Cries of fear are heard— terror, not peace.’” (Jeremiah 30:
5).
It is God who knows the anguish of every man inner voices because He is Omnipresent. He
knows what you feel and think because He is everywhere.
Let's see who is God according to His Word, that expresses His nature in different verses
and passages of the Old and New Testament:
"I am who I am" (Exodus 3: 14).
“I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen
you, though you have not acknowledged me” (Isaiah 45: 5).
“I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out,
and find pasture.” (John 10: 9).
“Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” (John 6: 35).
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.” (John 15: 1).
93
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to
come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1: 8).
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live,
even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe
this?” (John 11, 25-26).
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through me.” (John 14: 6).
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much
fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15: 5).
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” (John 10:
11).
"I am the Lord" (Exodus 6: 6).
You must be clear that God is eternal, personal, and spiritual in three persons: The Trinity,
The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God, the
Father. He is God and man. That is why He can understand you and you can reach Him
trustworthy. He is who guides you on your path to restore and give you peace in your heart
through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is God the Son, the path of your eternal salvation.

THE TRUE WAY TO ACHIEVE RESTORATION AND INTERIOR FREEDOM The Bible says:

THE TRUE WAY TO ACHIEVE RESTORATION AND INTERIOR FREEDOM
The Bible says:
“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.” (Proverbs 14: 12).
This is the way of sin, of life without God; this is the way of the men and women who walk
without direction, guided by their own arguments born in selfishness and sinful nature. This
is the way of the chained men and slaves of their own constructed arguments not to face the
pain, injustice, or frustration.
“The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned
them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.” (Isaiah 59: 8).
But there is a way that is true: the path of the love of God, love to the neighbor and to
yourself; the way of eternal life; the way to be free of the chains of oppression that
obstacles inner peace and freedom to act according to the Will of God and love.
This is the way for the renewal of the mind and the heart, surpassing the past to learn to live
today with joy and peace even in the midst of struggles, constructing a future with hope and
without fear or desire.
This is the way that destroys sin and its consequences in the soul; this is the only way that
brings eternal salvation, freedom and healing of the wounds of the soul, Jesus Christ!
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,
“This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30: 21).
91
The course of its pathway is in His Word, the Bible.
This is the only way that you should choose while being chained and slave to a world of
darkness at the bottom of your heart as a consequence of sin and that drives you through the
wrong way, as it is written:
“But you have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil, you have eaten the fruit of
deception. Because you have depended on your own strength and on your many warriors”
(Hosea 10: 13)
Jesus Christ, the son of God, is the only way to be free. So it says in the Bible:
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through me.” (John 14: 6).
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8: 32).

INTRODUCTORY LECTURE: THE TRUE PATH

INTRODUCTORY LECTURE: THE TRUE PATH
v MEDITATION: I NEED TO FIND THE WAY
My spirit is disappointed and living in two worlds: my world and my inner world. I have no
peace. In my inner world, my soul dwells in darkness of lies that lie in the depths of my
hidden thoughts. Chained and captive I wish to achieve my dreams, forget my pain and be
able to forgive, ask for forgiveness and forgive myself. But… I cannot! Silent voices
emerge out of control and control me. I want to but I cannot, I can but I do not want to.
And it is that I feel different from others. I feel that I don´t have a special place where to
stand, a place where I belong. I feel empty like something I've lost or that I have to find. I
feel unsafe with other people because I feel that I am not accepted even if they prove me
otherwise. So I give myself unconditionally and came to lose my dignity. Is that in the end,
88
I just want me to be accept because I have had many painful experiences in my journey in
this world that I need to love and be loved.
I rode through paths of sin because I was trying to forget thoughts that torture me and I
wanted to revenge of the damage that I have suffered.
My emotions change and I cannot dominate that and I live in the midst of the anguish,
anxiety or depression. I undertake things but I cannot finish them; I feel that I am
insignificant because I have no purpose in this life. Frustration invades me for not being
able to make justice against the life that have detached me so many things, against those
that laugh at me and that I loved, but they destroyed my life.
I try to get out of what I've fallen and destroy me as well as those who surround me, but... I
can't. Then I take refuge again in my sins that wrapped in a vicious cycle and enslave me,
and I hear the silent voices that confuse me. I don't know which path to follow.
And the days pass on, the time goes by and my internal forces are exhausted. Everything
I've tried everything, there is no hope for me. I am a slave to my past, I am a slave to my
unattainable ideals of a future that will not be. Forget living in my present because I don't
know how to love me, why I cannot love others. I'm desperately looking for God, but I
don't know how He can help me. Can God transform me or comfort me?
Can he rescue me from my own darkness, show me a Flash of light which might lead me to
my perfect peace or may replace my broken heart, perhaps in a moment or a day, or by a
prayer?
89
God may not want to accept me because I am unworthy and so sinful. I have been hurt by
others´ damage; I have much hate within me, but I admit that I have also hurt others.
And my journey through life keeps going on, because the wheels of time move out without
mercy.
Where can I find the path of peace that guides me to really know who I am?
Where are the bars of my own prison? Where are chains, the walls, the strengths, and the
darkness of my inner world? Around me but I cannot destroy them because they are
between my mind and heart, between my soul and my spirit division.
My ego in distress yells. It is my true voice in the midst of other misleading voices of lies;
they are chained to walls, fortresses, chains of ice, of hatred, which they blame me in the
darkness; they punish and prevent me from seeing the light. They are in a cold place where
there is no love, I am slave of myself, and even though I am awake, my soul still sees
darkness.
I hear about a God of love, but when I am alone I wonder if I can please him because I fear
not to leave the sin that I'm stuck at and I fear to fail Him. If He asks me to transform my
life! How could I do if I do not know another way of living, if everything is against me?
I need to find the way to be free and a voice that guide me on the hustle and bustle of the
confused voices of fear, and deep anger that I feel. I need a hand that would raise me when
I fall down, arms that hold me in rest when I am almost to give up and a peaceful presence
to bring me a new radiance with new forces and hopes which make me feel that the way to
achieve the inner peace is closer.
90
This is the crying of a captive and slave man because of sin. The crying of the inner nature;
let´s see which is the way to go

HELPFUL TOOLS 2013

The person must be provided of means or instruments that help accelerate and lead the
renewal of his mind and heart. Some of these are: positive prayer, specific prayer, and
prayer through the past, the practice of listening to the Word of God to replace the negative
thoughts and achieve the renewal of the mind and the heart, and the appropriation of Bible
verses to apply them to specific situations and assume them with perseverance to replace
destructive thoughts. Repentance and confession of sin before God directly, is also a form
of therapy for healing guilt.
These are some tools used in spiritual therapy:
• Spiritual music and posters with the word of God.
• Thanksgiving prayers for moments of depression.
• Positive prayer to assume and conquest the promises of God.
• Prayer of forgiveness from the womb of the mother for painful memories healing.
• Prayer to refuse and give up of old habits, sins, ties.
• Prayer to rely as a sheep in the good Shepherd (use your imagination).
Significance of the Word of God
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it
penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and
attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4: 12).
86
THE WORD OF GOD IS:
• "The sword of the spirit" (Ephesians 6: 17)
• "Powerful to build" (Acts 20: 32)
• “Gives understanding' (Psalms 119: 130)
• "Gives joy" (Jeremiah 15: 16)
• 'Produces faith' (Romans 10: 17)

STEPS TO FULFILL IN THE RESTORATION PROCESS:

•Firmly decide to obey and overcome
This is the first thing and the first thing is the will to change. The person must be
determined to be restored trusting in God, recalling that God does not force anything; He
waits for the decision and obedience without forcing. So who does not want to be restored
won't be.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you”
(Isaiah 26: 3).
“My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music” (Psalms
57: 7).
• Acquire the absolute trust in God
You must strip of distrust in God and his inappropriate image. The following verses show
the lack of trust in God and its consequences:
“I cry out to you, God, but you do not answer; I stand up, but you merely look at me.” (Job
30: 20).
“I say to God my Rock, “Why have you forgotten me? Why must I go about mourning,
oppressed by the enemy?” (Psalms 42: 9).
75
It is necessary to knock down the feelings of mistrust to avoid obstacles like the fear of
punishment by the feelings of guilt and adverse feelings (anger, hatred etc.) because of the
emotional pain and destructive thoughts. The absolute trust in God and in His Word is the
basis to grow spiritually, as expressed in the following verse:
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your
ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3: 5-6).
• Be totally honest before God to weaken defense mechanisms
It is necessary that all pain be released absolutely in God, in prayer alone with God. Be
totally honest because Lord knows everything. Through honesty, the person will be able to
knock down his own lies or defense mechanisms, essential step to let the truth of God to be
internalized in his life. For this it is necessary to remember that God knows everything,
even the things that dare not say. He knows everything, and being honest with Him has the
effect of releasing the negative and destructive emotions.
“Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the LORD. “Do not I
fill heaven and earth?” declares the LORD (Jeremiah 23: 24).
Let’s see, in Chapter 20, how the Prophet Jeremiah releases his pain and tension, with
honesty of feelings and emotions, before God.
“Cursed be the day I was born! May the day my mother bore me not be blessed! Cursed be
the man who brought my father the news, who made him very glad, saying, “A child is
76
born to you—a son!” May that man be like the towns the LORD overthrew without pity!
May he hear wailing in the morning, a battle cry at noon.” (Jeremiah 20: 14-16).
God invites us to throw our anxiety upon Him to so we would release our loads:
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due
time.” (I Peter 5: 6).
Be honest to God frees internal stress; silence produces tension and internal conflicts, as
well as psychosomatic illnesses:
“When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.” (Psalms
32: 3).
• Accept the Will of God (Lordship).
The person must eventually accept His Will through painful facts like accidents, natural
disasters, deaths, etc. Remember that he not lied to us.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have
trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16: 33).
• Restore communion with God
77
You must confess your own wickedness to God and ask forgiveness to God for blaming
Him of the pain suffered.
“I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.” (Psalms 38: 18).
“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces
them finds mercy.” (Proverbs 28: 13)
• Destroy the resistance and ways of avoiding pain
It is necessary to face the responsibility and consequences because of the emotional pain
and do not blame others or evade with the own lies (defense mechanism), as did Adam and
Eve to disobey the Lord:
The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree,
and I ate it.” Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
(Genesis 3: 12-13).
Defense mechanisms are destroyed by accepting reality and responsibility for the facts:
“Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right
in your verdict and justified when you judge.” (Psalms 51: 4).
• Accept God's forgiveness and accept it
78
“We have sinned and rebelled and you have not forgiven.” (Lamentations 3: 42).
“Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.” (Psalms
32: 1).
“I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your
sins no more.” (Isaiah 43: 25).
“Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will
confess my transgressions to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.” (Psalms
32: 5).
• Forgive and understand that the past cannot be change but the consequences
Because God has forgiven, therefore it is necessary to assume the privileges of being the
son of God.
“If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is
forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” (Psalms 130: 3-4).
“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of
the Son he loves” (Colossians 1: 13).
79
“This is what your Sovereign LORD says, your God, who defends his people: “See, I have
taken out of your hand the cup that made you stagger; from that cup, the goblet of my
wrath, you will never drink again.” (Isaiah 51: 22).
• Forgive your neighbor understanding that it is a decision
Understand that the way as God has forgiven you must forgive others:
“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against
someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3: 13).
• Remove the old arguments
The person will need to remove the weeds and rubbish in his thoughts that are the engine of
the actions and emotions and give up the old arguments and destructive habits. You must
take off the old arguments and reject them because you may not sow among thorns or build
on rubble.
“As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.”
(Mark 4: 7).
“Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word; 19 but the worries of this life, the
deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word,
making it unfruitful.” (Mark 4: 18-19).
80
“This is what the LORD says to the people of Judah and to Jerusalem: “Break up your
unplowed ground and do not sow among thorns.” (Jeremiah 4: 3).
• Sow in clean soil new arguments based on the Word of God
A word of power, according to the need should be sown in the clean area of the mind and
the heart. Let the Holy Spirit Guide, while pruning every area of the painful memories.
Cypress and Myrtle represent your new arguments born from God's Word
“Instead of the thornbush will grow the juniper, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the LORD’s renown, for an everlasting sign, that will endure forever.”
(Isaiah 55: 13).
• Building new goals for life.
You must guide the person to restore his life according to God's will to build new plans and
goals according to the vision that God has given you and according to his abilities and
talents. God will give him real and achievable goals. He should be aware that life changes
therefore must be flexible to start new plans although they are no longer those who desired
in the past. God will always give better things than expected to those who trust Him. He
tells us in His Word:
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my
thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55: 9)
81
PRAYER:
In you, LORD my God,
I put my trust.
I trust in you;
do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.
No one who hopes in you
will ever be put to shame,
but shame will come on those
who are treacherous without cause.
Show me your ways, LORD,
teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love,
82
for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, LORD, are good.
Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way.
All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful
toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
For the sake of your name, LORD,
forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
Who, then, are those who fear the LORD?
He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.
They will spend their days in prosperity,
83
and their descendants will inherit the land.
The LORD confides in those who fear him;
he makes his covenant known to them.
My eyes are ever on the LORD,
for only he will release my feet from the snare.
Turn to me and be gracious to me,
for I am lonely and afflicted.
Relieve the troubles of my heart
and free me from my anguish.
Look on my affliction and my distress
and take away all my sins.
See how numerous are my enemies
and how fiercely they hate me!
Guard my life and rescue me;
do not let me be put to shame,
for I take refuge in you.
84
May integrity and uprightness protect me,
because my hope, LORD, is in you.
Deliver Israel, O God,
from all their troubles! (Psalms 25)
v It should be remembered that the restoration is a process in which the person will have to
assume the Word of God! The person will need patience and face struggles that must be
overcome gradually.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND MISTAKES THAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED IN THE MINISTRY OF RESTORATION

RECOMMENDATIONS AND MISTAKES THAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED IN
THE MINISTRY OF RESTORATION
Recalling that we are whole beings with soul, body and spirit that are interrelated, I found
the following errors to be avoided by the servants of God during the supporting in the
Ministry of restoration. I also mention some important recommendations.
ERRORS:
v Try to blame all adverse manifestation only to spiritual causes.
v Make a public spectacle of the ministering.
v Underestimate the form of worship and teachings of other denominations rather than join
a same purpose.
v Use guilt and fear to God to gain economic benefits and service benefits to the
congregation or Ministry
v Emphasize a call to work for God before the person has a biblical training and heal of his
damaged emotions.
69
v Avoid pulling, hitting or touching forcefully the diseased body parts to reprimand
demons, with the negative consequence to the illness and the patient.
v Ask the patient to immediately stop taking the medicine
v Rebuke and expect that a spirit of depression will be immediately chased out with a
single prayer of liberation and no follow-up.
v Make feel responsible of lack of healing or God's response to the person telling him that
is his sin or apathy what obstructs God´s work.
v Force the person to have the same vision of the Church.
v Prevent the person to express anger if he really feels it and tell him that Christians should
not feel anger rather than show him the appropriate way to manage it.
v To force the person to forgive by guilt and fear, not love, adducing that God will not
forgive him, without considering that it is necessary, first of all, to work out pain and
destructive emotions.
v Make the person believe that forgiveness is a feeling, not a decision.
v Reject the new means of preaching the Word as music, Internet and other media, by the
resistance to leave the traditional means.
v Make the call to salvation based on the fear of hell and not in forgiveness and mercy of
God, no matter the sin
v Emphasize on the negative and the work of Satan that induces to always look at the bad
things of life and to remain in permanent state of fear.
v Do prayers that lead to grotesque images of illness and destructive work of Satan.
v Misinterpretation of physical diseases as epilepsy and demonic manifestations
70
v Create psychological dependence with the counselor and not with God
v Force the person to release an insecurity, fear or guilt as a magic act. Force to confront
his own weaknesses and fears without giving him time to work out the pain and embrace
the Word of God.
v Convince the person that will be restored in a second just by God´s intervention
forgetting to point out the need that must fight, persevere and overtake.
v Make the person feel bad for crying, complaining and expressing his of anger, ignoring
that the person is an emotional being and needs to release anger and pain.
v Force the person to express himself always in victory when he is not because this
prevents him from being honest with himself and with God.
v Give to know the tricks of the Devil by inducing fear and need to be Warrior 24 hours a
day, without teaching to stand in the power and sovereignty of God.
v Try to express flair of power of liberation and demonstrate the absence of love for the
helpless and sick at the same time.
v That psychologist ignores the importance of spiritual conflict, inappropriate image of
God and perception undue to the working of Satan.
v Christian leaders ignore conflicts and psychological roots of the human being from
infancy.
v Make negative sentences e.g. reprimanding spirit of cancer that destroys the body so
tense person and causes fear.
v Believe that each person can restore at the same speed, but to understand that each one
needs the time that the Holy Spirit gives him.
71
v Discontinue a ministering of liberation or inner healing with the move of the Holy Spirit,
because of the Church´s schedule.
v Not let talk about their conflicts to the person who needs to be heard.
v Scold the sick person for his cries in his emotional area and because he doesn´t declare
himself in victory.
v Compel the person to embrace his enemy while is not prepared for that since this is an
internal decision in the specific time according to each case.
v Compel the person to leave his sin as adultery, prostitution or drugs immediately without
recognizing that he needs time, support and financial assistance.
v Despise the need of an alcoholic or drug addict because causes confusion within the
Church rather than ministering him and show him God´s love and acceptance in a modest
way without causing confusion within the Congregation.
v Respect the denomination and religious belief and use the ministering to teach the true
Word of God.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
v The minister is first prepared in this Ministry through Discipleship in the spiritual and
emotional area of the human being.
v Take the person in crisis into a discreet place to listen, ministering him and pray for his
needs.
72
v If the person is in crisis, avoid making prayers that emphasize the destructive work of
Satan and instead emphasize the power and control of God over all things, so that the
person can rely on Him and is not going to feel that is warrior in a moment of weakness.
v Demonstrate unconditional love to the person in crisis despite his appearance or
emotional state.
v Give him security that he will be OK and that you will be praying for him or her.
v Refer him to the counseling Ministry of the Church, for the group of people in crisis or
conflict.
v Avoid children in counseling or lectures.
v Let the person to cry and express his feelings even if they have grotesque expressions.
v Point out that forgiveness is a decision and that this should be done in prayer

THE MINISTERING TO GROUPS 4.1. GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

First of all, people need acceptance, love and a gradual ministering into a Ministry of
restoration with skilled people in the psychological area and the Word of God. They must
meet other people with which to share similar situations to support each other, establishing
a special day for this Ministry to be guided towards the renewal of their mind and heart
through a process of dialogues and specific ministering on the damaged areas.
It is also very important to provide the time so that they can express their feelings and
repressed emotions. So it is necessary that the environment is suitable and people are
gathered together according to age, sex or according to need. The important thing is that it
can exist in an environment of confidence and freedom to speak. These people need a
special restoration ministry, spiritual therapy and fellowship because love and acceptance is
basic to those thirsty souls of love and to be heard.
Meetings should be directed to specific groups by age, gender, mixed groups or according
to the subject to be treated.
Talks should try to follow a gradual order, but must pay attention especially to the needs of
the Group and the direction of the Holy Spirit. People from the beginning should have clear
which is God´s nature to avoid an inappropriate image of God or Satan that would obstruct
spiritual growth.
An environment of trust and security, acceptance, and love within the group must be
established.
There should be a period of prayer at the end of the meeting directed by the leader on the
subject to be treated and the needs that arise.
64
There should be a support group to give individual counseling.
The Ministry of praise is essential to soften the hearts and allow the personal defense
mechanisms to fall down.
Frequency within meetings must be prudentially set down so the person must be allowed to
assimilate the teachings of biblical truths.
IT IS NECESSARY TO CONSIDER THESE ASPECTS:
• Instruct on God´s nature of mercy and forgiveness.
• Provide specific Word of God regarding God´s forgiveness.
• Minister forgiveness in prayer, if the person is willing to heal the guilt for sin against God,
his neighbor and himself. No force but hope that the defense mechanisms fall down.
• Give specific Word of God to support the healing of fear, desire and self-esteem
problems.
• Give word on the victorious work of Christ over the forces of evil.
• To encourage to depend on God and not the counselor.
• To inform about the prayer support for their cases.
• Refer to the Ministry of restoration of the Church.
65
The mediation does not have a rigid pattern because each case is different but should be
necessary to fill up the following steps.
Recommendations for the first contact:
• If possible try to get in advance the fundamental data of the person.
• Ask for God's guidance.
• Reach the relief of the person in crisis.
• Provide security and trust in a discreet atmosphere.
• Listen without interruption without judging or taking sides.
• Show empathy, understanding, patience and love.
• Provide security in overcoming the crisis.
• Allow the person to talk or cry, etc. in order to attain relief
Objectives
66
• Reduce the stress state.
• Deliver their loads to God.
• Counteract violence expressions and risks of life.
• Induce a process of restoration by means of ministerial support.
• Confidence that there is a solution.
Recommendations for counseling: consideration and definition of the problem
• Identify the content of the feelings and the persons involved in the crisis.
• Identify the location of the causes in time past, present or anxiety towards the future.
• Determine spiritual causes.
Objectives:
• Establish immediate needs.
• Separate what has no solution from what can change.
• Establish ministerial support for following needs.
67
Search for solutions:
• Guide to spiritual growth based on the specific word of God for the personal problem.
• Seek solutions with the agreement of the person on specific personal and family
situations.
• Facilitate tasks to meditate and put into practice at home oriented to induce positive
behaviors and break destructive behaviors.
• Ensure that the person can discern between what can be changed and what has no solution
and deliver it in God's hands.
Objectives
• Take action one step at a time by mutual agreement with respect to the person's ability.
Ensure that they can take control of their decisions and that they rely in God 24 hours a
day.
• Avoid dependency of the counselor.
Fourth phase: follow up
For the complexity, the specific and the number of people in crisis the follow up process
must be carried out by a ministerial supportive group of restoration that lead the person to
find its new position in Christ and restore him to personal and family level.
68
Since many of the problems are engrained in the past, the first years of childhood,
intervention through restorative prayer of forgiveness is required.
v Meetings for specific age groups can be offered to educate on the possible crisis of
development, raise self-esteem and give counseling on family matters. This should be done
through specific ministries in the Church.

SPIRITUAL WEAPONS IN THE RENEWING OF THE MIND

  1. “An attacker advances against you, Nineveh. Guard the fortress, watch the road, brace
yourselves, and marshal all your strength!” (Nahum 2: 1).
This verse shows the need of taking the weapons that God has given us to fight and win.
When you try to a spiritual change Satan is to destroy the work of God in different ways,
but God has given us spiritual weapons to defeat the forces of evil.
Spiritual weapons are contained in all the biblical precepts concerning the spiritual struggle
between good and evil, so we need to know to use them against the forces of evil and fight
with power against his tricks and lies.
    The Bible says:
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so
that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against
flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this
dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on
the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your
ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth
buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your
feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this,
take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil
one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
    62
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in
mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6: 10-18).
“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have
divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that
sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it
    obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10: 4-5).
Every thought, argument, Covenant, doctrine established in sin is a fortress that stands
against the inner freedom. With spiritual weapons God gives power to overcome and renew
thoughts under His lordship and obedience.
What is the armor that God gives us in the spiritual struggle to gain victory?
    • Prayer
    • The name of Jesus
    • The blood of Christ
    • The Word of God
    • The authority over the forces of evil that gave us Jesus Christ
    (Luke 10: 19).

THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

  1. THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
v Who runs the restoration within the inner world?
The Holy Spirit acting in the mind and heart of the person, when you have received Jesus
Christ into your heart according to what the Bible declares:
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your
    midst?” (1 Corinthians 3: 16).
    59
“You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed
the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not
belong to Christ.” (Romans 8: 9).
The Holy Spirit operates in the inner world of the person renewing it gradually through the
revelation of the biblical truths that confront the lies built in the past and that enslave your
    life.
The truth that reveals the Holy Spirit is what frees the man: "And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free" (John 8: 32).
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2
    Corinthians 3:17).
    THE HOLY SPIRIT IS:
    • The examiner (1 Corinthians 2: 10).
    • The Comforter (John 14: 16-17).
    • Which convinces of sin, justice and judgment (John 16: 8)
    • The Restorer (Titus 3: 5).
    • The Liberator from the law of sin and death (Romans 8: 2).
    • The Guider (Romans 8: 14).
    • Which gives strength (Ephesians 3: 16).
    • That gives the fruit (Galatians 5: 22, 23).
    • Which bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God! (Romans 8: 16).
    • Which reminds us of the things of God (John 14: 26).
    60
THE NATURE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
    • He is one of the three persons of the Trinity.
    • He shares all the attributes of God.
    • He is everlasting (Hebrews 9: 14).
    • Omnipotent power (Luke 1: 35).
    • Omnipresent (Psalms 139: 7, 8).
    • Omniscient (all-knowing) (1 Corinthians 2: 10, 11).
In the process of healing of the wounds of the soul, the Holy Spirit is the comforter.
In the process of liberation of destructive thoughts and lies, He is the one that reveals the
unseen and guide into all truth as it is said in the Bible:
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth”. (John 16:
    13a).
“The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.” (1 Corinthians 2: 10b).
The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God, the personal prayer and the intercession prayer as
well as the prayer directed through time. It confronts all lie and break defense mechanisms
so that the person would face up the reality of sin that enslaves him.

HOW DOES GOD WORK IN RESTORATION

THE MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST
He is the truth that addresses and overcomes your lies built in your past; He is the abundant
life which He offers you, He is the spiritual food and perfect peace.
In the book of Isaiah we read a prophecy in relation to the attributes of the Lord Jesus:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of
Peace” (Isaiah 9: 6).
He is the beginning and the end; He is in your past, in at your present, and on your future.
He is in your inner world because He is Omnipresent.
He is the good shepherd who takes care of His sheep and heals his wounds: is your Savior,
your liberator, your emotional healer, who can restore your fragmented life by the pain of
your past because of sin in your life. He is the only light that can set you free from the
prison of your darkness and which prevents you feel inner peace. Jesus expressed this in
the following verse:
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have
the light of life.” (John 8: 12).
The Ministry of liberation and inner healing of the Lord for your life is found in the
following passage and Bible verses:
“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to
proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim
while we are facing up the crises; He is the Lord, our support, who listens to and
understands, He is the one who always forgives and the psychologist. He is the permanent
support to release all the feelings and repressed emotions.
JESUS IS:
• The son of God, the Savior (John 3: 16).
• The way, the truth and the life (John 14: 6).
• The light of the world (John 8: 12).
• The Liberator (John 8: 36).
• The healing for damaged emotions (Isaiah 61: 1-3).
• Guide (Psalms 32: 8).
• Who listens and responds (Jeremiah 33: 3).
• The shepherd who cares fo

RESISTANCE AND DEFENSE MECHANISMS TO EVADE THE PAIN

RESISTANCE AND DEFENSE MECHANISMS TO EVADE THE PAIN
“The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?”
(Jeremiah 17: 9).
In the previous verse, the heart represents the place of the mind and the form which is used
to suppress the pain. Know the hidden thought is the work of the Holy Spirit during the
restoration process. He can understand and disclose any internal conflict.
Defense mechanisms are the way the person uses to give his own explanation on a painful
fact and it allows you to minimalize the pain and its intensity. The problem is that these
explanations become arguments that direct the mind and the emotions. Many of these
arguments are born from childhood, so these mechanisms are difficult to detect and even
48
the same person unknown them. These are the thoughts that use the opponent to control
men and enslave him.
The Bible call them walls, fortresses, chains, and any obstacle raised against the truth of
God; arguments created in lying to not deal with guilt, the images of fear and everything
that causes pain, embarrassment or requires struggle. Most of the people prefer to live with
these defense mechanisms because to face and destroy them requires fight, change and
perseverance; they do not know that the price to pay is very high because they cannot grow
spiritually and feel free internally. Defense mechanisms are then lies that are opposed to
God's truth. The truth of God, which is His Word, has the power to set us free. As it is
written:
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8.32)
According to what a professional in psychology has explained regarding some of most
common defense mechanisms and that would be useful to understand the person, is
presented as follows:
• DENIAL: The person evades the real facts to not deal with the pain, the guilt and shame.
The person feels that it is better to think that nothing has happened, that everything is fine.
To defeat this mechanism it must be recognized that the denial does not change things, only
tries to hide the reality and chains him with guilt.
• RATIONALIZATION: This is another form of self-deception where reigns the self, selfcenteredness.
The person gives an explanation at his convenience to a fact or builds it
through his childhood and perception of the world, when he was a child, when he was not
able to understand the events, can therefore create arguments distant to reality but that help
49
him to avoid facing up the emotional pain. This explanation is used so many times that this
lie becomes a truth of his life, and it doesn´t matter how ridiculous and illogical it looks
like
• PROJECTION: This is a reflection of the feelings that are projected in other situations or
people. The person reflected in other what really feel but do not want to admit; severely
judged, criticized, condemns it. An example of this is to assume that the thoughts of others
are negative with respect to himself because in the end is how he feels about himself. What
bothers him is seen in others because he cannot accept that it is within him. He may
consequently reflect hatred, but denies that feeling because as he believes that he is good
cannot admit that these feelings dwell within himself.
• COMPENSATION: Consists of going to the opposite extreme of what feels like way to
self-deception. If expresses that you are very beautiful, but finally believe the opposite;
imagine being holder of a future of fame and wealth, because he has a low self-esteem.
This form of self-delusion can blast in an explosive reaction of violence or crisis by the
internal pressure that means to hold a thought or emotion which has not been released by
fear to facing up a painful reality. These feelings are powerful in people with low selfesteem.
• BLAME OTHERS: Is the way to attribute to another the responsibility in order to avoid t
admitting the own responsibility, as in the case of Adam and Eve when they sinned
(Genesis 3: 8-12). They are people who in their daily life are seeking always to blame
others for their failures, and in this action the most affected persons are the weaker or closer
relatives. Not to assume the own fault is a way to defend ourselves from the fear of
50
punishment and condemnation by God, the others and ourselves´ side. With this defense
mechanism the repentance and desire for change is difficult.
• CREATE FANTASIES AND LIVE THEM: under this mechanism, the person lives in an
imaginary world that serves to avoid the painful reality that does not match your desires
and goals and then sticks to an imaginary life with respect to his past, present or future.
All these mechanisms blind the person and obstruct the restoration. When the person comes
to know his defense mechanisms he is no longer slave to his own lie and assumes the truth
of God.
The preceding facts separate the person from God's plans for his life and inhibit him to
make the decisions in order to do His will.
Satan´s workshop is in this world of lies (darkness).
If you're willing, God will make that (walls, fortresses) defense mechanisms fall and will
carry out His Ministry, as it is written:
“I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and
cut through bars of iron” (Isaiah 45: 2)
“He will bring down your high fortified walls and lay them low; he will bring them down to
the ground, to the very dust” (Isaiah 25: 12).

CHAINS OF INNER OPPRESSION, THE CONSEQUENCES, AND GOD'S RESPONSE

CHAINS OF INNER OPPRESSION, THE CONSEQUENCES, AND GOD'S
RESPONSE

CHAINS OF INNER OPPRESSION, THE CONSEQUENCES, AND GOD'S
RESPONSE
“I have been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is” (Lamentations 3: 17)
Sin in the life of the person produces different negative and adverse consequences in his
spiritual, emotional, mental and physical area, as well as in his relations with others. Let's
see what these chains of internal oppression that enslaves him are:
Within the soul are destructive feelings of guilt, of rejection, abandonment and loneliness,
low self-esteem, hatred, bitterness, resentment, fears, phobias, concern and all thoughts and
emotions that preserve you from peace and internal domain.
• CONSEQUENCES:
• In the soul: (heart and mind)
Obsessions, depression, anxiety, anguish, of revenge, suicide, frustration, envy, jealousy,
greed, impatience, dispersal; inability of forgiveness, total absence of inner peace, mental
illness, desolation.
• In the body:
Diseases without physical cause: problems of sleep, tachycardia, stress, food and digestive
problems, asthma, headaches, backaches, arthritis, colitis, ulcers and all kinds of diseases
and ailments because of internal stress.
In the next verse we can see the importance of bringing the sins to God in confession and
the benefit for the physical and emotional health.
45
“When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and
night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.”
(Psalms 32: 3-4).
“Woe to me because of my injury! My wound is incurable! Yet I said to myself, “This is
my sickness, and I must endure it.” (Jeremiah 10: 19).
“So I remained utterly silent, not even saying anything good. But my anguish increased”
(Psalms 39: 2).
• In the spiritual life:
Inappropriate image of God, blame him and feel abandoned by him. Fear of punishment
and severe judgment of God, obstacles to spiritual growth and disproportionate fear to
Satan.
The person may feel that God not answers, blame Him for his painful experiences, claiming
his current life, therefore it will be difficult to trust Him. This way he loses communion
with God, because he has fear of punishment and does not dare to be honest in prayer. You
cannot reach trust in God, indispensable and essential aspect to be restored.
Let's look at this in the following verse:
“Why is my pain unending and my wound grievous and incurable? You are to me like a
deceptive brook, like a spring that fails.” (Jeremiah 15: 18).
46
In the following Psalms (Psalms 32) we can see the negative and adverse consequences of
sin in the spiritual, emotional and mental life as well as the impact on diseases without
physical cause. The psalmist suffers from powerful feelings of guilt and is self-punished,
blaming God for the punishment. We can deduce that because of internal stress the psalmist
suffers various ailments and depression to express that all day is bleak. Here we find the
importance to make the slaved people to experience the power of the Word of God to
liberate then and the positive effect of the redemption of Jesus Christ to pay for the sins of
humanity.

EMOTIONAL PROFILE AND NEGATIVE COMSEQUENCES IN BODY, SOUL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE

EMOTIONAL PROFILE AND NEGATIVE COMSEQUENCES IN BODY,
SOUL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE

2.1 EMOTIONAL PROFILE AND NEGATIVE COMSEQUENCES IN BODY,
SOUL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE
He is the person who presents serious spiritual and emotional problems due to his painful
experiences in his walk in the world. He has problems of concept and inappropriate images
on the idea of God and Satan, so it is not evident his progress in his spiritual development.
He comes from the world with different thorns born of divorce, prostitution, alcoholism,
homosexuality, aggression, emotional trauma from childhood, and generally personal sin
and others about his life.
He is seriously damaged and cannot act in love because his spiritual eyes are covered by the
thorns of fear, anger, low self-esteem, guilt, frustration, and feelings of rejection.
These negative feelings also affect his emotions and can manifest anxiety, depression, and
anguish and have deep feelings of loneliness and abandonment. His distorted language will
obstruct his spiritual growth and cannot see God as a Father of love and forgiveness. This is
due to his emotional damaged area that affects his spiritual life because he is a being that
works in an integrated manner with its three areas: body, soul and spirit.
This person may not understand what the grace of God is, because in his past experiences
has known only the conditional love, rejection, betrayal. He has therefore raised defense
mechanisms that prevent him from trust and believe in his word in the depths of his heart;
that is, it lacks conviction.

• 2.1 Why Sin enslaves?
All persons are to a lesser or greater degree prisoners due to the bondage of sin, given that
dominates us internally.
The person is the slave of sin against God, against his neighbor, against himself; as well as
the sins of others against his life.
SIN has consequences in the life of the person as follows:
It separates him from God, as the Bible points out:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3: 23).
To be separated from God there is spiritual death because lost eternal life at his side.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Romans 6: 23).
All have sinned because of our sinful nature. Sin defiles the man in his relations with God,
with others and with himself. Also in his emotional life, goals and dreams, because they get
sick, and sin also brings diseases to his mind and heart. All these aspects make him prisoner
of himself because he cannot act safely but guided by impulses and destructive emotions:
feelings of guilt, fear of punishment, anger and any consequences which prevents the inner
peace as the psalmist says in the following verses: “Do not withhold your mercy from me,
LORD; may your love and faithfulness always protect me. For troubles without number
surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of
my head, and my heart fails within me.” (Psalms 40: 11-12).
44

WHY SOME PEOPLE IS NOT RESTORED EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE IN CHRIST JESUS?

WHY SOME PEOPLE IS NOT RESTORED EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE IN
CHRIST JESUS?
Fear and guilt do not let them to recognize their own responsibility. They prefer to blame
every problem blaming others and close the door of their heart. God demands a condition:
to open the door (which is the will), believe in Him and obey Him because He forces no
one. He invites, he calls..., he asks that we give to Him our loads and will continue.
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I
will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” (Revelation 3: 20).
Jesus wants to get in with his Ministry of salvation, liberation, inner healing, and
restoration. But in each area the person must open the door through honesty, humility and
faith.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIBERATION AND INNER HEALING

1.2 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIBERATION AND INNER HEALING
To ensure the restoration it is necessary that the person is being ministered in liberation and
inner healing. It is therefore necessary to clarify the differences in these ministries and the
need within the restoration.
These ministries were developed within the Christian Church, but many times due to
ignorance, errors in the form of ministration, instead of bringing peace and freedom to the
person who is looking for God, they confuse and worsen their spiritual and emotional
situation. For this reason, it is important to know what the differences and needs which are
making these ministries closely related and to become part of the restoration.
It is necessary to remember and to be clear that the human being is made up of body, soul
and spirit and that the three areas work in an integrated manner: If an area is damaged, that
will negatively affect the other areas.
From the spiritual point of view a person possessed under the rule of an evil spirit; also
manifest an upset emotional behavior and would suffer in his body. This person must be
ministered in prayer of liberation according to the power that Jesus Christ gave to his
Church (Luke 10: 19).
39
In this action the evil forces cease to operate with the power of the Holy Spirit in prayer and
through the Word of God. The time required for this can be instantaneous or short
according to the need that is set in the spiritual struggle.
As the person is under the total domination of demonic oppression, is unable to free itself.
You need God's servants. However he is aware of his situation and in his emotional area
(soul) feels fear, anguish, shame, anger. The servants must be discrete, wise and operate in
love; do not make a public spectacle of the ministering because this will affect the image
and concept of the person within the Congregation. In addition, should be taken into
account that the released person should continue in the inner healing Ministry to carry out
its restoration, but... What is inner healing?
Inner healing is a result, in the soul of the person, of a process of renewal of his mind and
heart that brings inner peace, will relieve him of the painful memories and allows him to
restore his present life according to the Will and God's plans for his life.
The inner healing comprehends healing emotions and harmful feelings that bring
depression, anxiety and lack of peace, due to painful memories not healed that also distort
the thoughts and creates lies themselves to justify the experience or suppress it.
Different to the demonic liberation, in the inner healing the active participation, decision
and perseverance of the person are essential and required and an indefinite time is needed
where works the Holy Spirit, guiding, clarifying and revealing the truth that makes you free
(John 8: 32).
This is a gradual process of "remove the hawthorn" and planting, in the thoughts the Word
of God and in the heart God's perfect love.
The Word for the sick minded; love for the wounded heart full of hate and resentment due
to the pain of the past.
40
All people need inner healing because we are all injured; but not all need demon release. In
both cases manifestations such as anger, apprehension, depression, anxiety can occur but
are not always due to spiritual causes. Most of time is due to the fruits of the painful
memories of the unresolved past; therefore God's servants should be careful in the way of
ministering.
Many mistakes which worsen the situation of the person are made in this regard. See the
following examples:
A person, who has suffered depression for a long time, is looking for God and is liberated
from a spirit of depression. The person returns home and depression worse. Then, feel that
God has abandoned him that his last hope does not exist, or that it is unworthy and there is
sin in his life. This situation makes it fall into a deeper depression and lost confidence in the
power of God. The problem is that this person needs to be ministered in inner healing and
not liberation and needs to be guided towards his restoration. Similar errors occur when is
ministered for demonic liberation a person suffering from the disease of epilepsy.
This disease presents demonstrations similar to the boy of the silent spirit (Mark 9: 17-22):
it seizes him, breaks down it, throws him, grind teeth and is consumed. One can also
mention the case of people with hormonal disorders manifesting severe anxiety or
depression due to physical causes. Do not many children have traumas that in adulthood
will prevent them to rely on the "Father", and would fear to be ministered in the "blood" of
Christ? And this is because the painful memories also create to the person images that
cause fear and are distorted from reality. It is logical that all these people need ministering;
but it is not always that they are possessed by an unclean spirit. Of course Satan uses these
situations to oppress the person, but it is not the same oppression than possession.
41
In conclusion, everyone who needs to be liberated must be guided in inner healing and
restoration, but not every person who needs inner healing needs to be ministered as a
demonic person. It doesn´t matter what the situation is, it should be necessary to emphasize
the authentic way of God´s love, through the acts of the servants of God who need
understanding, wisdom and above all having been called by God to each Ministry. Because
God calls and prepares, through their own experience (2 Corinthians 1: 4)

MEDITATION: THE SERVANT OF GOD´S CALL 2013

MEDITATION: THE SERVANT OF GOD´S CALL
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6: 8). I want to bring light to the blind sheep and
anointed with fresh oil to the wounded sheep of your fold.
And you heard my answer but not sent me, told me: "Be still and know that I am God"
(Psalms. 46: 10)
Because I wanted to run to give your message but was not yet ready: should be renewed my
mind and my heart.
I spoke then and said: I will first put my word in your mouth, my love in your arms, my
tears in your eyes, and I will do that your feet are not so you have to listen to me in your
grief. Because I must first get to your wounded heart that still has parts of stone because of
the painful experiences of your past. "I will give you a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36: 26),
because I talk to the blindly and wound sheep through your mouth and your arms, but I put
my love, my word, my consolation and forgiveness inside of you.
I forgive you, you said, but you must learn to forgive yourself. I destroyed your pride so
you can also ask for forgiveness, and I show my mercy that you have with others to your
around. I free you of yesterday´s pain and the anxiety and uncertainty that produced you
your morning because bind you and make you a slave. Transform and form you is only
possible if you learn to trust my power and fidelity only through difficult times.
You did then let test and more tests in my life up to the limit of my strength, but I fell not
because you were caring for me.
36
You touched my emotional area, my feelings; You shattered my goals and dreams and
changed them by the thoughts of God (Isaiah 55: 9).
In order to comfort others I should first feel your comfort (2 Corinthians 1: 4). I was
consoled while I was crying and asked incredulous why you let my suffering prevented me
to serve you because I had said: here I am Lord.
You placed your word in my wounded heart and my heart was in my mouth and shed your
love in my hands to make me your servant in the classrooms of God.
You were preparing me in the Ministry of consolation and mercy to the injured sheep,
because you heard my prayer when I said: here I am Lord.
You were removing the bandage from my eyes so that I might lead to other blind people.
You were giving me mercy and Word power for the sick, the bedridden, solitaire, the
needing and all that you call your children and that I can now see when I remember my
pain.
You had to fill the pot that you fashioned with the mud of my existence; you formed me,
and took me to your heavenly classrooms.
Gave me the cross of Christ because I had to go to Calvary and die to myself, Christ rise
and live within my inner self.
I did not understand that you were preparing me because there is no other way to
understand and feel the pain of others, only through the pain itself.
I now understand why. You speak to others through the love for you because “Whoever
does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4: 8). You found in me a
prepared heart, full of weaknesses and suffering, but it was the perfect clay for your power
to be glorified because your power is glorified in weakness (2 Corinthians 12: 9).
And I was wondering... why, why Lord?
37
But now I know that there is no “why” in the school of God but “what for” which is the
right question because it answers to God's purposes.
But even if you understand that I am clay in your hands I wonder: until when Lord? Until
when I am going to be tested so I will serve you as I want to, Lord? And you answered: it is
not as you want but as I want to, for I am your God.
And now, as time goes by, still in the school of God, I look back and I understand that I
have learned your Word through grief, because only pain destroys the fortresses built in the
past and in Sin: pride, selfishness, and everything that belongs to my egocentric nature and
that refuses to die so that You will live within me.
Today when I see the enslaved memory when I was slaved, when I hear those who show
anger I know that they are tied to their pain. When I see the wound sheep and the prostrated
in a bed, I realize that it is there where I need my arms and your mercy within me to love,
and proclaim the message of salvation.
God is spirit (John 4: 24). You need a life ready to use his mouth, his arms and his feet to
come and go wherever you send him but with a renewed mind and heart. You need
someone who understands that it is more blessed to give than to receive: you need someone
with a testimony that can speak with conviction and authority in the name of the Lord.
Now I understand that You prepare your servants: in the pit of grief.
I know that what I've written and all that you have given me I can give it without
selfishness because it belongs not to me but to you; they are your thoughts and your
feelings, they are the instrument for your Holy Spirit to destroy "the yoke of oppression"
(Isaiah 10: 27) because you now live within me, because you made me thy servant.
38
I know that you are sovereign and all you allow has a purpose in my life and that of others.
And I still say: here I am Lord! Because I'd rather die myself so that others live in you, than
live myself and let others die without your salvation and consolation.
“See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.”
(Isaiah 48: 10)

THE BURDEN AND DIFFICULTIES OF THE ADVISER

THE BURDEN AND DIFFICULTIES OF THE ADVISER
“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace,
but a sword. For I have come to turn “‘a man against his father, a daughter against her
mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the
members of his own household.” (Matthew 10: 34-36)
In the Ministry, the counselor confronts lying and personal and family sin, with the truth of
God. Here comes the strength and spiritual warfare and many times the same person refuses
to confront his life. Enmity and tension arise. The Counselor should not press or wait to be
given an immediate response.
You must understand that it is a reaction to not die to the old customs, habits and selfish
interests, or fear of pain and guilt.
Time is different in each person, and the work belongs to the Spirit of God. The Counselor
is only the instrument of God and must pray for the people who will treat in his service.
You must bear in mind always that in your Ministry should prevail the message of
salvation.
35
We can feel this burden and pain in some of the prophets such as Jeremiah: “To whom can
I speak and give warning? Who will listen to me? Their ears are closed so they cannot hear.
The word of the LORD is offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.” (Jeremiah 6: 10).

PART I: TRAINING 1. THE MINISTRY AND COUNSELOR

PART I: TRAINING
1. THE MINISTRY AND COUNSELOR

“For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the
LORD Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth” (Malachi 2: 7). God calls
through His Word to His servants and by the work of the Holy Spirit acting in their hearts.
These are some Bible verses relating to the call to serve Him. Serve to remind every
Christian leader called to serve in the Ministry of restoration.
“A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the LORD[a]; make straight
in the desert a highway for our God” (Isaiah 40: 3)
“But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my
friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said,
‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I
am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I
will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41: 8-10).
“This is what the LORD says: “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of
salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people,
to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, to say to the captives, ‘Come
out,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’ They will feed beside the roads and find pasture
on every barren hill. They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun
beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside
springs of water.” (Isaiah 49:8-10).
34
“Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful
hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with
divine retribution he will come to save you.” (Isaiah 35: 3-4).
“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one
will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root
grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” (Hebrews12:14-15).

COMPUTER MATERIALS READY 2013

Finally I had the computer materials ready and I had already learned to use the Internet.
Thank God, during my mundane life I had also studied many courses on computing that
helped me with this work. I began with the most basic and fun: chatting.
And so in this search for any human being who clicked on the other side, I found a web
master, rather I would say that the Lord did it. And it was in a program of 11,000,000 of
users, but for God "nothing is impossible". As time went by, the Lord gave me a site, site
staff of my oil paintings where you can see the work: The Gate or The Patio that was the
winning painting in the Hispanic Heritage Parade of 1995 in New York.
And after that I started to feel in the heart to place messages to carry light over the Internet.
I spent like a year and a half and nothing regarding the web page. So, I asked God for an
answer. I put all my material in a closet and once again said to the Lord: send me another
fax or open a door to me because I do not have the resources nor know what else to do. I
am giving up again.
Once again I experienced that as a servant of God one of the most difficult things is to learn
to wait patiently for the time of God. We usually run or want to give things from one day
to another. But we forget that God is working in other people who one day will be the
instrument that will be used to continue in the Ministry.
So I forgot this Ministry for a few days.
And a few days later in an Internet cafe I decided to enter the email address of the name
that we had chosen. And there it was there. A simple site but finally, the instrument to send
the restoration Guide: "Peace in his way".
I thought that it was all done but I realized that I just started a precious and necessary
Ministry to carry an instrument of restoration to the oppressed, afflicted and blindfolded.
32
But in this process of giving birth to this Ministry what most struck me was when I tried to
send the guide via the Internet; I didn't know how dangerous would be if the Guide was
done in "Word", it is not safe to because the message can be destroyed or the information
changed.
God is wise, He is in control of everything and takes care of His Word; He sent to me an
angel who told me that this would be a weapon for the enemy. And I had no idea that that
could happen since my knowledge on computers and web master by the time was poor.
God changed the program to Acrobat Reader to ensure and protect the information.
This ministry was emerging little by little, only in obedience and little money; the
necessary to perform each step while the Lord was opening doors and using instruments.
Nowadays, after five years of using this guide and receiving letters and calls from brothers
and Christian leaders of different countries, I testify that God supports those He call to
serve. It is His Ministry. We are only His servants.

WHEN I WAS ALMOST TO GIVE UP 2013

Every servant of God knows that it is not easy to follow God's call.
Economic resources are needed. There is opposition, criticism, mockery, "spiritual things
are foolishness to the world". Sometimes there is opposition within the Church or group of
people, where the struggle of power always is present and sometimes emerges resistance to
leave traditions and fears of new technology.
There are struggles within the Church, within the Congregation, in the family, among
friends, and worse still among the enemies.
Testimonials often discourage us and severe judgment is never missing. On the other hand
there is a part of the "old creature" that refuses to give up the dreams and goals built in
yesterday and an inner voice that says that it is not worthwhile. But love is greater than
everything. And God is love. And if that love is flowing we can overcome the inner
struggles and move on.
But then again in this fight of love to serve and selfishness to live what I had refused to live
I gave up many times.
29
I was exhausted and felt that I was only wasting time and that way I talked to God, now the
true God because no longer I feared with terror but lovingly because I know that He is a
God of love.
These are the struggles that will experience all the servants of God, but which finally pass
on because love "is greater than everything, always perseveres”.
We know that pain and imprisonment that is left behind is the prison of many suffering
souls. We know that there are many who come back walking the same paths of our past
error. They still do not know the pain, but we have already experienced it. So we follow in
obedience to the Lord.
And thus we see as restored addicts move to restore to other drug addicts; those who have
lost loved ones are ministries of consolation; the missionaries are able to renounce their
own families and countries and the servants of internet are able to spend whole nights
without sleep to connect with other people who do not know though no matter that your
sight wears down and suffers back pain. Because they know that they are souls who are
suffering and who expect a friendly voice, arms of love, a word of hope and power so
miracles will be realized by the work of God.
And in this fight one day I said to God in prayer: Lord, at least send me a fax, I'm still in
this, because I think I'm just crazy. So God heard me and two days later I received from
Guatemala a phone call from the director of campaigns of the Evangelistic Baptist Church
in that country. I have just seen this man a few days in a campaign here in Costa Rica and I
had given to him some of my writings and my phone number.
And he spoke unto me thus: "Sister, I'm calling you at this time because God put in my
heart to tell you about the need to write on these subjects." "I'm here writing a conference to
be said in El Salvador with your meditation: "Leaving the Burdens".
30
In the meantime, I looked up and said: "This is the fax that God is sending to me".
I had thought that I was going to give up on this call, because to be honest, it was already
very tired and wanted to escape.
And this was another conflict that I felt, and many servants have experienced. By one side
the desire to obey God and follow Him; and on the other, realize the goals and worldly
dreams.
And I remained for more time writing on the computer.
But at this time I began to feel awful from my back, so I decided to have surgery. It was
going to be a surgery that would let me continue with this Ministry for some time. And so I
said to the Lord in prayer: Lord I have tried it, but... I couldn't.
Now I must take care of my health.
And so I went to "rest" and wait nine long days in a hospital for my surgery. Another
experience that I will never forget! I could also see the physical suffering of people and
how this suffering affects harmfully the emotions.
And I waited until that day came through, after nine days in a room with lamps on that
don´t let you sleep, the shouts and the blood pressure measurement. And there, dressed in
green, ready for surgery, the Lord again rescued me. And I did not have my surgery.
Suddenly, an emergency showed up and the surgery room that was ready for me, had to be
used by a patient's emergency and I left the hospital walking and getting home I realized
that the computer was still waiting for me to finish what I had begun. And I was
murmuring: "I will not continue with this Ministry: Sorry, my Lord!".
