EMOTIONAL PROFILE AND NEGATIVE COMSEQUENCES IN BODY, SOUL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE

EMOTIONAL PROFILE AND NEGATIVE COMSEQUENCES IN BODY,
SOUL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE

2.1 EMOTIONAL PROFILE AND NEGATIVE COMSEQUENCES IN BODY,
SOUL AND SPIRITUAL LIFE
He is the person who presents serious spiritual and emotional problems due to his painful
experiences in his walk in the world. He has problems of concept and inappropriate images
on the idea of God and Satan, so it is not evident his progress in his spiritual development.
He comes from the world with different thorns born of divorce, prostitution, alcoholism,
homosexuality, aggression, emotional trauma from childhood, and generally personal sin
and others about his life.
He is seriously damaged and cannot act in love because his spiritual eyes are covered by the
thorns of fear, anger, low self-esteem, guilt, frustration, and feelings of rejection.
These negative feelings also affect his emotions and can manifest anxiety, depression, and
anguish and have deep feelings of loneliness and abandonment. His distorted language will
obstruct his spiritual growth and cannot see God as a Father of love and forgiveness. This is
due to his emotional damaged area that affects his spiritual life because he is a being that
works in an integrated manner with its three areas: body, soul and spirit.
This person may not understand what the grace of God is, because in his past experiences
has known only the conditional love, rejection, betrayal. He has therefore raised defense
mechanisms that prevent him from trust and believe in his word in the depths of his heart;
that is, it lacks conviction.

• 2.1 Why Sin enslaves?
All persons are to a lesser or greater degree prisoners due to the bondage of sin, given that
dominates us internally.
The person is the slave of sin against God, against his neighbor, against himself; as well as
the sins of others against his life.
SIN has consequences in the life of the person as follows:
It separates him from God, as the Bible points out:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3: 23).
To be separated from God there is spiritual death because lost eternal life at his side.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Romans 6: 23).
All have sinned because of our sinful nature. Sin defiles the man in his relations with God,
with others and with himself. Also in his emotional life, goals and dreams, because they get
sick, and sin also brings diseases to his mind and heart. All these aspects make him prisoner
of himself because he cannot act safely but guided by impulses and destructive emotions:
feelings of guilt, fear of punishment, anger and any consequences which prevents the inner
peace as the psalmist says in the following verses: “Do not withhold your mercy from me,
LORD; may your love and faithfulness always protect me. For troubles without number
surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of
my head, and my heart fails within me.” (Psalms 40: 11-12).
